My husband & I were so honoured to receive a blessing from Pope Francis for our 60th Wedding Anniversary. My husband died last year just 2 years after and before he died it was one of the memories shared with our family. Like the Pope I am a firm follower of Mary mother of God ,and we were lucky to go to her shrine at Walshingham. My husband and the Pope died within 6. Months & my prayers are with them both

Dear God, Thank you for Pope Francis' life and the commitment and adoration that his his life held for You. He showed us how to be loving, forgiving, accepting beyond our comfort zones. He led us with humour and with humanity. Thank you, God for sending him to us and may the next Pope lead us as well as Pope Francis. Lord, may Your humble earthly representative return to You swiftly and me he be absolved of all sins as he rests with You in Eternal Peace. Amen
