My message regarding Pope Francis is one of sorrow. The start of the jubilee year seemed so bright. I decided to even commit myself to reading Pope Francis' Saturday Jubilee Audiences and journaling my thoughts on them, sharing my musings with the Lord. I was really determined to make the very best of this rare Jubilee year, but shortly after my first journaling session, it is then announced that the Saturday talks will not continue, as the Pope has been hospitalised. I hoped the Saturday talks would resume when he was released, but this never came to pass, and now we all know this to be impossible. It seems God had planned to take him, and that was that. I just wish I knew how to make sense of the death of the Pope in the midst of being a Pilgrim of Hope. I wish I knew what he would say. I'd like to also say that I'm grateful for Pope Francis' work and ministry. I believe he truly did his best to guide the ship that is the mystical body of Christ as best as he could through what were confusing waters at moments. I'm thankful for his work. If God can give us this Pope, I'm confident he's still looking after His Church. Onwards and upwards!

Am Kintu Felix Musoke a Catholic Christian member of St. Kizito Soya Christian Community in St Charles Lwanga Kalungu Sub parish in Ggaba parish in Kampala Archdiocese in Uganda and as with the rest of Catholic in Uganda in East Africa, I was saddened by the loss of Pope Francis and I send in my heart felt condolences to the bereaved family and to all people around the world and pray that God strengthens and comfort you, Pope Francis led a life of virtue, he has been a great fighter and am going to miss him but Pope you have gone to a better place. I would like to personally thank Pope Francis for 12 amazing years of greatness, you be missed, rest in eternal peace. Amen
