It seems beyond me to express adequately in words the greatness of our late Holy Father,
Pope Francis, Bishop of Rome, Father of the Faithful, Servant of the Servants of God and all the other titles he so well fulfilled in his twelve years. MAY HE REST IN PEACE AND RISE IN GLORY.
May miracles happen throughout the world as the result of prayers to him - World Peace, the Conversion of unbelievers, the Unity of Chritians everywhere.
May the Holy Spirit inspire his successor to continue the great improvements he has begun.
I don’t have the words to thank you for all you did for humanity, for the poor, for the immigrants and all of the marginalised people.
You were a light in the darkness. I really wanted to dislike you as a non denominational Christian, but I listened to what you had to say…you lit a flame in me through your teachings and how you lived a humble life, yet could have had all the trappings of royalty - for me you drew me into the Catholic Church and because of you, my son was baptised into the Catholic Church, has had first confession and will soon receive first Holy Communion.
I wanted to do something to honour you this week, I’d already lit a candle, prayed daily and it didn’t feel enough. So I thought what would Papa Francesco do? Papa I fed the poor, I went and donated to the food bank in your honour.
I know that you would have helped the poor had you had one more day on earth you’d have spent it serving others. I will never forget the gift of faith you blessed my family with and I will try to live a life that would honour you in some small way.
God bless you Papa may you rest in peace and rise in glory.
Pope Francis you have been a ray of light and love especially to the poor.
Thank you my love for you will grow as I pray to you and God for a continuation of your ministry on earth.
